About

Home is where the good soup is.

Working in different parts of the world and learning a foreign language have given me a unique perspective on both written and spoken word. I’ve had the privilege of working in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I discovered (and translated) parallel meanings and pronunciations. Here’s a quiz: can you pronounce ‘Auchentoshan’ correctly?

I studied Japanese for about three years, a hobby sparked by visiting the country and falling in love with the gorgeous city of Kyoto.
じゃぁ, まだ上手に話せません.
While I’m not proficient, learning a vastly different language—with a rearranged sentence structure (Subject > Object > Verb)—has given me a fresh perspective on English. The dissection of language strengthens even the simplest of sentences.

Lately, I’ve become interested in the intonations and hidden intentions behind spoken words. In another life, I think I would’ve been a detective, deciphering not just what a suspect says but how they say it. But instead of solving crimes, I’m selling long-lasting bubblegum.

I’m open to working anywhere. My dream is to explore more of the world and strengthen the human connections fragmented by borders and politics. Yes, I’m yet another person who put “loves to travel” on their dating bio.

I’m very friendly to boot, so don’t hesitate to send me an email just to say “Konnichiwa~”.
